14 Statistics Why Visual Content is a Marketing Must-Have

IMAGES ARE VITAL: Without a doubt 2014 is another year that is moving us toward a more visual marketing world. Users have been driving this shift with exponential increases in interaction with visual vs text based marketing tools. As social media feeds get more saturated, images rise to the surface. In fact, Facebook users are uploading over 350 million photos to Facebook per day, up 20% from earlier this year. Even usage of the photo-sharing tool Instagram, purchased by Facebook in April of 2012, has increased 1,179% in six months.

But there are still many businesses who aren’t convinced that visual content is worth the time and investment to get affect their bottom line. Luckily, since the upward trend has been growing exponentially for the last 2 years, new business research proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that quality images are a must-have for successful marketing campaigns.
